Description

These new multi-leaf rear springs by Posies lower your classic Ford half-ton pickup 3″ more than a set of stock replacement springs. Super Slide springs incorporate moly-nylon buttons that reside in die-formed pockets at the tips of the spring leave. Replace your 50 year old stock springs with these new, computer-designed leaf springs for a much smoother ride. Springs have reduced load capacity from stock just from the fact that you are lowering your vehicle.

These Dual-Flex front springs by Posies lower your classic Ford 1/2-ton pickup 3″ more than a set of new replacement springs. The unique 2-leaf tapered design offers a better ride and provides a 100% increase in safety over mono-leaf springs.

Includes new U-bolts for easy installation. Shackle and spring bolts sold separately.

Note: If used in conjunction with a dropped front axle, you may encounter bump steer and tie rod issues.

Anytime you remove a leaf spring U-bolt, you should replace it. Once they have been tightened and stretch, they have lost their strength. These U-bolts are designed to be used with stock 2-1/4″ wide rear Ford half-ton multi-leaf springs.

Bolts have 9/16″ rolled threads and include flat washers and nylock nuts.

High quality Rear Spring Shackle Kit from MAC’s Antique Auto Parts. Includes 6 large pins and bushings and 6 small pins and bushings enough for both springs. Fits 1955-56 Fords.
